Where to get help

Support and charities

LeakedBriefs reviews products. We are not a medical service or a helpline. When you need real support, advice, or someone who knows what they are talking about, these are the organisations we trust, and the campaign we are proud to back.

We started LeakedBriefs because the information men needed was scattered, hidden, or buried in advertising. The same is true of support. This page gathers the organisations doing the work that matters, so you can find them in one place.

The campaign we support

Boys Need Bins · Prostate Cancer UK

Men deserve a bin to use

Boys Need Bins is Prostate Cancer UK's campaign to put sanitary bins in men's toilets, so that men managing incontinence can dispose of pads with dignity instead of carrying them home in a pocket or a bag. Their research found that 95 percent of affected men feel anxious about disposal, and that many cut down on time away from home because of it.

We back this campaign without reservation. Their BOG STANDARD guidelines set out what a properly equipped washroom looks like, and the campaign is pushing for it to become the norm everywhere. You will find a link back to this page in the footer of every page on this site.

Charities and information

Four organisations we would point any man towards. We have no arrangement with any of them. We list them because they are genuinely useful.

Prostate Cancer UK

The leading UK charity for men's health. Their incontinence hub has clear, practical guidance on managing leakage after prostate surgery, and their Specialist Nurses can be contacted directly for confidential advice.

This page is signposting, not medical advice. If leakage is new, changing, or affecting your daily life, see your GP. We explain what to expect from that conversation in our guide on what your GP can actually do.

For transparency: LeakedBriefs has no financial relationship with any organisation on this page. We list them because they help, not because they pay, and they do not endorse us in return. If you run a charity in this space and think you should be here, tell us.
